What is Richi Social Entrepreneurs?

Richi Social Entrepreneurs is a Boston-based initiative launched by the Richi Foundation, whose mission is to foster and catalyze the development of international Social Entrepreneurship ecosystems, taking Boston's unique case as a role model.

How does Richi Social Entrepreneurs tackle its mission?

Richi Social Entrepreneurs runs 3-week immersion programs into Boston's advanced social entrepreneurship ecosystem. You can review the past and upcoming editions of the program here.

Why is Boston the best location for my project?

Positive impact projects have lots of opportunities in Boston, especially for LifeSciences (Boston is the world's top biotech hub), CleanTech (the sector is growing extremely fast over the past years) and EdTech startups. Please visit Why Boston section for more information.

When will the next Richi Social Entrepreneurs programs take place?

Please review the upcoming edition of our Boston Immersion program here.

Can I participate in the program?

We look for Impact Entrepreneurs with positive impact projects. The projects should have a scalable business model and address global challenges in any sector (BioTech, MedTech, Digital Healthcare, EdTech, CleanTech, IT, Services, and many more).

We believe anyone can be a Social Entrepreneur: students, researchers, recent graduates and industry professionals. Not having any previous entrepreneurial experience is not an issue to participate in the program, however, participants must consider themselves as change-leaders, have a competent team, and a speak English fluently.

How much does the program cost?

For specific program fees, please visit our upcoming edition page to learn detailed information about early birds, regular fees and deadlines.

Fee covers the curriculum and housing for 2 entrepreneurs. Flight tickets and meals are not included.

This fee may be covered either by participants themselves; or by sponsors.

Instead of 2 participants per startup, can I (just myself) participate in the program?

Of course! If you are the only one representing your startup in the program, $1,000 will be reduced from your program fee.

Can more than 2 people per startup participate in the program?

Yes! We allow a maximum of 4 entrepreneurs per startup. You'll need to add $2.500 for each additional team member joining the program. For example, if you want to participate 3 people, your program fee will be the regular program fee + $2.500 (extra team member).

I want to participate in the program; do you provide accommodation for my family?

Unfortunately, our housing can only accommodate the entrepreneurs participating in the program. However, we'll be more than happy to provide you with some tips and recommendations to find a good accommodation for your folks.

In the case you want to sleep with your family during the program, that's totally fine. If that happens, we would reduce $1,000 (accommodation fee corresponding to one person) from your regular program fee.

I would like to sponsor a project to participate in the program. What do I need to do?

Please send an email to el@richifoundation.org and we will explain the process.
